Women's Ministry Purpose The purpose of the Westminster Women’s Ministry is that every woman know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world. Theme Verse Colossians 3:16 16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." Goals through May 2011: Minister to women as women and encourage connections through intentional relationships. Encourage spiritual growth of the women in our church with emphasis on Scripture and application of Scriptural principles to daily life. Nurture the prayer lives of women in our church, praying for the life changing work of God in and through us. Provide an opportunity for each woman to discern and exercise her gifts and abilities to the glory of God in the total work and worship of the church. Purposefully equip the women of Westminster to serve as pillars of support to our church in its mission. How to Get Involved The Women’s Sunday School Class led by Jan Powell will continue to meet weekly on Sunday mornings at 9am in the education wing. This year's study topic is Job. Attend a women’s bible study (see list)
